Randy Blythe, vocalist of Lamb Of God, shares the story of Wayne Ford, a fan he first met at a show a few years ago. Wayne was engaged in a battle against leukemia that he ultimately lost in early 2015. Randy Blythe and Wayne Ford fast became friends during their time together and his life and cancer fight inspired a song entitled "The Duke", which was recorded during Lamb Of God's sessions for the band's latest album, VII: Sturm Und Drang. "The Duke" didn't appear on the album, instead an EP for that track titled The Duke is set for a December 2nd release date.

And the tour cancellations continue following the Paris terrorist attacks. While some bands have maintained their shows in Paris and all over Europe, others like Lamb Of God have decided to return home, citing security concerns to cancel their remaining shows. Curiously enough, Children Of Bodom and Sylosis, whom have been accompanying Lamb Of God on this tour, have decided to continue with the European trek unlike the Americans.

Lamb Of God is currently touring in Europe and sadly, the experience in Dublin wasn't a pleasant one for frontman Randy Blythe. He was attacked in Dublin by a gang of teenagers on Sunday night as he explained via Instagram. The vocalist said this happened while taking late night camera shots of the Samuel Beckett Bridge. He was in Dublin for a gig with Megadeth, Children Of Bodom and Sylosis at the 3Arena, which took place on Monday.

Children Of Bodom are releasing a new album soon, I Worship Chaos. So, naturally new tours are being booked to promote the record. Today, the Finnish metallers announced a string of dates for Europe. Children Of Bodom will join forces with groove metallers Lamb Of God, who will present their new record VII: Sturm Und Drang as well and tour Europe this fall. Opening support will come courtesy of British metallers Sylosis. For a few dates in the UK and Ireland, this touring package will team up with mighty Megadeth as well.

In 2012, Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic and charged with manslaughter for allegedly pushing 19-year-old Daniel Nosek offstage at a show two year prior and causing injuries that led to the fan's tragic death. In his memoir, Dark Days, the singer Randy Blythe reveals what he remembers of the 2010 show where a Czech fan was fatally injured. Blythe relates the tale of his ordeal during incarceration, trial, and eventual acquittal. The book comes out on July 14th on Da Capo Press.

Lamb Of God have just premiered a brand new track! The American metallers are showcasing a song from their new album VII: Sturm Und Drang, more specifically "512". The song lyrics are about Blythe's experience in a prison in the Czech Republic, where he had been charged with manslaughter for allegedly pushing a fan offstage and causing injuries that led to the fan's death. The vocalist was eventually found not guilty, but still spent over a month incarcerated. It was during that time that he began writing "512" - in Pankrác Prison cell number 512. It would appear that Lamb Of God have commenced working on the follow-up to Resolution. The band has launched an official Instagram account and posted some photos including a shot of a Mesa Boogie Mark IV amp and hints at their seventh album. Drummer Chris Adler, who is currently recording with Megadeth, has also confirmed that the band is working on new material. Whether the recordings have started or it is just the writing process, it seems pretty clear that there's work being done on the next Lamb Of God album.
